The Big First Aid Lesson Live

posted in: News | 0

On 17 June 2016, your students could learn how to save a life in just one hour

Live and free, the nation’s biggest first aid lesson returns to schools across the country at 2pm-3pm on 17 June 2016.

The Big First Aid Lesson Live, sponsored by Network Rail and Personal Group, is an interactive hour-long online programme streamed live into classrooms. It’s filmed in front of a live audience of students and will be hosted by Dr Ranj, the co-creator and presenter of the hugely popular CBeebies’ show, Get Well Soon.

Open to students aged 7-16, it will cover a whole range of first aid scenarios including chest pains, seizures and insect bites. But this will be a lesson with a difference – there will be live demos, incredible real life stories, chances to ask questions, and other opportunities to get involved.

The only equipment schools need to take part is an internet connection and a screen (such as an interactive whiteboard) for their pupils to watch in the classroom or during assembly.

We hope that by making first aid accessible, easy to learn, and even fun – students will walk out feeling confident they could one day be a life saver.

Teachers – register your class to take part today.
